Blake Caravati, who’s the longest serving current Councilman, favors setting up a diverse & flexible committee that can assist with this project. Caravati and his colleagues might choose an Interchange Design Committee at their February 22nd meeting. The council witnessed a video Monday night that showcased what might happen during afternoon drive, IF there were NO grade-separated interchange. This simulated traffic model showed cars backed up from McIntire Road to the Pantops area.”

It is absolutely astonishing that our representatives are such firm believers in deciding to fund studies, task forces and commissions but refuse to actually decide anything of consequence.
