Delayed showings

This accomplishes at least two things: first the
Sellers have the opportunity to prepare their home for showings and two,
interest builds in the market.

A common tactic when putting a home on the
market in the MLS is to list the property and then not permit showings for a
certain number of days. This accomplishes at least two things: first the Sellers
have the opportunity to prepare their home for showings and two, interest builds
in the market.

Problems arise most
often when Realtors do not read the remarks stating that showings are not
permitted. This mistake can then be compounded by those who choose to not take
accountability for their mistakes and try to talk their way into a home. Quite
frankly, this is wrong and unethical in my honest opinion, almost as bad as
those Realtors who delay showings but permit those who call anyway to “sneak
into” their listings.

Being honest
and accountable is not a difficult concept, but all-too-often is too much for
some.
