I don’t know quite how I stumbled onto this story, but it appears that Micro$oft is going to implement RSS into their next version of IE … and they are going to use the Firefox icon to indicate when a feed is present. To those who are not currently familiar with RSS, 1) This may not seem like a big deal and 2) It is, and you will become very familiar with RSS next year. Yes, MS tends to copy more than innovate, Safari and Firefox are better … but MS are a necessary evil.

RSS is the next thing for real estate website technology, and one that I hope to implement in some fashion in the first quarter of 2006.
