Normally I don’t buy into these things, but this one seems worthwhile and credible:
Blog Action Day (and their blog)
On October 15th, bloggers around the web will unite to put a single important issue on everyone’s mind – the environment. Every blogger will post about the environment in their own way and relating to their own topic. Our aim is to get everyone talking towards a better future.
As I have written many times before, being mindful of our impact on the environment ought not be a political issue; conservation makes sense (particularly now in the midst of a drought). It just makes sense – primarily from a fiscal point of view – who doesn’t want to save money? Living green is easier than ever.

Thanks to Lani, Copyblogger and ProBlogger for the heads-up.
Any other blogs in the Charlottesville area planning on participating?

First, I applaud you for joining in!
Second, it’s so strange to hear about a drought since we’re under water here in Texas!
Third, if you (or others) learn about other Realtors participating, let me know- I’m keeping a running roll on our site.
Readers- Jim is one of the first Real Estate bloggers in America to join in!!!
Thanks, Lani. If nothing else, a little bit of awareness never hurt anybody, and I won’t have to search too far for ideas on the 14th!
Hi Jim,
I will be participating! I found out about “Blog Action Day” this afternoon at a site called “RE Revealed”. I think it’s a fabulous idea. I’m so glad there are at least two C’ville real estate bloggers participating!
