I am not a lead

For years I have thought of those who contact me through this blog not as leads but as people who want to have a conversation about real estate. So far, that’ worked pretty well.

I am not a lead video.

Few things are more de-personalizing than referring to someone and their family as a “lead.”

    Jim,
I saw this flick on Inman and couldn’t believe how some agents have made their clients feel. Thanks for posting this. It is a wake-up call to those of us who really care about being real estate professionals.

Thanks for posting. Glad you guys are getting the message here. So many businesses outside real estate are advancing their concept of customer. They are changing the way they speak to and treat their customer. The result is new and better relationships are being developed and a stronger sense of loyalty and bond is forming.

Each line offered by each individual is meant to illustrate a place where real estate could go and invent a new value proposition for the customer. After all, we are all customers in the end and we all want to be treated like kings and queens not leads and members of a farm.

Just a friendly message from us at 1000watt.

    Marc
