I know he’s done more than Ferris Bueller’s Day Off, but I can’t help being a little bit excited about this from the Daily Progress:

Matthew Broderick, Annette Bening and Cherry Jones will be among the headliners at this year’s Virginia Film Festival.

The Virginia Film Festival in Charlottesville is one of the annual events I look forward to, if only because of the activity and buzz it generates around town. You might not know that there’s a UVA football game happening, but you generally can feel that the Film Festival is on.

Tickets go on sale October 9, 2009.
