I reluctantly post this as I rarely post about active homes for sale in Crozet or Charlottesville, but this is an exception.
Last sold in 2006 for $315k (asking price was $325k).
And, because I’m speaking about a specific property, I might as well disclose that I’m a Realtor in Charlottesville.

“Property Sold “AS IS” with NO repairs or warranties”
Owned by Bank of America as of April 2009.
I wonder if the owner trashed it on his way out?
I saw it when it was on the market last time (still as a foreclosure) and it wasn’t trashed at all. Needed cosmetic work, but nothing dramatic.
The bank paid $220 so apparently they just want it off the books. Good deal for somebody.
There was a good article in Washingtonian about the bubble, and one of the interviewees was a guy who takes possession of foreclosures for banks. He said the worst he saw was a house where the guy had plugged the bathtub, turned on the water, and walked out.
The remarks actually say “Title Issue Disclosure”…BofA is at the national center of Fraudclosure and MERS issues….
Yep. But at least they’re disclosing it. 🙂
