They’re asking. Might as well tell them. (of course, I’d wager there would be different votes should the follow up question be: now that you have expressed your wishes, would you be willing to pay for these improvements?)
The poll is on the City of Charlottesville website. I’d like to see an “other” option.
Other: Real cooperation between the localities on infrastructure collaboration that is inclusive of all forms of transit – pedestrian, bicycle, vehicle – that is focused on what is good for the entire community.
“… in the next 5 years …” I don’t know if that’s optimistic, delusional or dishonest.
Note from the comments: it’s an informal poll, not a survey.
this is not a survey- this is an online poll, to suggest that any policy be made by this online poll is ridiculous. Also the results of an online, unscientific poll are not news- that is just a message to the news outlets who are purporting the results this is news.
Thanks, Jennifer.
I agree it’s not really news, but it’s interesting to see what people think. In this case, I doubt their opinions really matter.
Asking what people want in the next 5 years is akin to asking whether they would like the sky to be filled with 19 rainbow from dusk til dawn with unicorns filling pots of gold. 🙂
