Great post from @Emarieg about how she moved to Charlottesville and became part of the community using Twitter.

Charlottesville has a tremendously active online community that has a tendency to take it offline into real friendships – both personal and business.

Two of my Twitter lists:

Charlottesville people (most of whom I’ve met)

Charlottesville media (who are quite the active community)

I’d love to see any other Twitter lists …

This is a decent starting point for finding clubs and groups in Charlottesville.
