Data is fun. Big data is more fun.
I know this – I was surprised both at the most “super†zip in the Charlottesville area as well as the purported median income in the City of Charlottesville.
What do you think?

Not a big surprise. Wealthy people can afford to live in that zip, and around here many are college educated. Folks moving down from DC tend to look north of town and have the incomes and frequently the income from DC-area home sales to buy in those locations. The disparity between those and the zips south and west of town is a bit surprising.
Not surprised by the median income within Charlottesville, Plenty of pockets of wealth just north of downtown, out Rugby, etc.
I thought Keswick would be the winner due to the lower population and higher income (my perception), but a point difference is probably a statistical tie.
The City – yeah, even with the pockets, the data I see and stories and anecdotes about the poverty levels … I don’t know.
