Saw this story today, “EL DORADO HILLS — An El Dorado Hills subdivision still has a “whites only” occupancy rule on the books.”
And remembered (I wrote about this in 2012) this clause from a Charlottesville neighborhood:
This particular document was written in 1972. Nineteen. Seventy. Two!
And in 1992 the neighborhood said no, that’s bad.
Also, I think they foresaw AirBnB.
Always read HOA rules and regulations; this is from another Charlottesville area HOA:
All toys, bicycles, tricycles, motorcycles, mopeds, and such other similar items located on a Lot or adjacent streets shall be removed each evening to an area not exposed to view from any other Lot or street.
