What are the best Charlottesville vegan restaurants? I had no idea. With family and friends in town seeking vegan options, I was left to ask one of the best resources around – Charlottesville Twitter.
Some vegan options
- Afghan Kabob Palace
- Milan Cuisine
- Ming Dynasty
- Roots Natural Kitchen
- The Spot
- Now and Zen
- Mas
- Orzo
- Aberdeen Barn

Sweet. Thanks, Chuck!
I enjoyed Afghan Kabob Palace restaurant. This is a lovely place to eat–the food, the atmosphere, the service. If you are a vegetarian, it is better to order off the menu than partake in the buffet. Most of the seemingly vegetable dishes are made with chicken bouillon.
From the menu, I highly recommend the dumplings (I forget what they call them). And this restaurant makes a fantastic eggplant dish.
This is fantastic. Thank you, Stephanie!
