This is the hardest, most stressful, most psychologically and intellectually demanding market I’ve ever been a part of.
- Short sales? We figured that out. Traumatic.
- Foreclosures? Sucked, but those are definable, and often tragic and/or traumatic.
- Low inventory and competitive market? We can evolve the right mentality and clauses.
- High gas prices? Gas price math works – live closer if possible.
100% uncertainty, chaos, and malice from the federal government? Markets going up one day, and crashing the next? Federal employees being indiscriminately fired, and maybe rehired?
People leaving the country by choice or by fear, and programs we depend on – financially and humanly being maliciously and thoughtlessly cut, creating and fostering more societal and economic uncertainty?
We are in this together. I write this as much to share a bit of insight into what good, professional, empathetic Realtors are seeing and feeling, and to encourage a bit of patience, breathing, and understanding. We are in uncertain and frightening times. We don’t know what tomorrow is going to yield, and still, we are in this thing together.
